Chelsi Day, PsyD

As a first generation college student, all I knew about college was that it was where I had to decide what to do with the rest of my life. I've always taken a "let's see where this takes me" approach. This often looks like enough planning to have some direction paired with a lot of flexibility and openness to seize opportunity.

I knew early that I wanted to attend Miami University and major in psychology. I decided fairly last minute that I would join the varsity dive team. Turns out, between an injury and few mental skills, I could have used a sport psychologist. Unfortunately, there wasn't one available to me. That experience is what helped me decide what do with the rest of my life.
